Application

Calcium mercaptoacetate (1:1) is used as a hair removal agent for skin or leather. Calcium mercaptoacetate is currently the main hair removal agent, which reduces the mechanical strength of hair by breaking disulfide bonds and peptides in the hair structure, as well as its reducing effect under alkaline chemical conditions. Due to its different usage levels, it can soften and break hair, and has been widely used in perm and hair removal cosmetics.
