Manganese acetate is an organic substance with the chemical formula (CH3COO)2Mn. It is a light red transparent monoclinic crystal and is soluble in water and alcohol. It is mainly used as a catalyst in the production of polyester chips and PTA. It is also used in different reactions, the synthesis and polymerization of vinyl esters, leather tanning and dishwashing tablets, and can also be used as a desiccant for paints and coatings, a mordant for printing and dyeing, and a feed additive.
