The double-bonded trans isomer of oleic acid is called elaidic acid. Oleic acid can regulate blood lipid levels, reduce cholesterol, effectively reduce the occurrence of hypercholesterolemia and cardiovascular diseases, and reduce the probability of coronary heart disease.
